I like the new blog. Striking that balance between data accuracy and time spent collecting it is a challenge every business must consider. In journalism, however, data accuracy requires significantly more time and money than in other practices, and that’s too high of an opportunity cost. Perhaps the balance is one that takes into account both quantitative measures and qualitative considerations, with significantly more emphasis on the latter.
